Recruiting at UW-Madison

University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) offers an incredibly talented pool of students and alumni. Thank you for considering students from UW-Madison to meet your hiring needs. To help you navigate campus and hire a Badger, please consider the following options to maximize your recruiting efforts.

Post Internship and Job Opportunities

BuckyNet is the password-protected, web-based recruiting system used by the schools and colleges listed below. The partnership among these units creates a multi-school environment that allows employers the ability to manage all aspects of the recruiting services with one username and password. It also allows the luxury of access to one student database encompassing candidates from all schools and colleges involved. Contact a career office to get started!

myECS is a proprietary software used in the College of Engineering to assist employers in hiring engineering and STEM majors for summer internships, cooperative education assignments, and entry-level and experienced full-time employment.

StudentNet is where School of Nursing posts part-time student jobs, new RN positions and openings for graduate prepared nurses.
Attend a UW-Madison Career Fair

Career fairs are an effective way to connect with students across campus and gain name recognition. Career fairs are one of the most popular and well-attended career services events on campus. Don't miss the opportunity to build your brand and communicate your value to the many students who participate in UW-Madison's career fairs every year.

There are two primary career fairs held in the Kohl Center on campus each year, attracting over 250 employers and close to 1,800 students. The Fall Career and Internship Fair is typically in September, and the Spring Career and Internship Fair happens each February.

Specialty career fairs also happen all over campus, if you are recruiting a specific background for your company. Contact the appropriate school/college career services office to talk more about recruiting Engineers, Real Estate, Actuarial Science majors and more!

Interview Candidates on Campus

Along with attending career fairs, UW-Madison has a robust On-Campus Recruitment program, facilitated by each individual career services office. Contact the office directly to discuss interviewing on campus and setting up a specific recruitment plan.
